3 residential sites set for auction
Auction for residential sites on Stubbs Road, Begonia Road and in Ngau Tam Mei to take place on May 12 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
Secretary for Development Carrie Lam said on Wednesday three residential sites will be put up for auction next month - the former Lingnan College on Stubbs Road, a Begonia Road site in Kowloon Tong and an Ngau Tam Mei site in Yuen Long.
“This will be followed by the auction of two residential sites in June, one at Borrett Road and the other at Ping Shan, Yuen Long. We also plan to put up for tender a site with flat-size restrictions in Tung Chung in June,” she said, adding the residential sites for sale from April to June will provide at least 2,650 units, according to a government report.
Apart from residential sites, the Government will invite tenders for the sale of three specified sites for commercial-business and hotel use.
Two sites, one on Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, for business use and the other on Queen’s Road East for hotel use, will invite tenders next month. A commercial site located at the junction of Kai Cheung and Wang Kwong Roads in Kowloon Bay will invite tenders in June.
