According to a report, two residential sites in the 2013-14 Land Sale Programme, in Sha Tin and Yuen Long, will be sold by tender, the Lands Department announced today.

The tender invitation for both lots will open on July 19 and close on August 30.

The first site - Sha Tin Town Lot No. 579 in Area 56A, Kau To - has a site area of about 32,900 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 18,022 square metres, and the maximum is 30,036 square metres.

The other site - Yuen Long Town Lot No. 528 at Tak Yip Street, Tung Tau - has a site area of about 4,303 square metre and is designated for non-industrial, excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station, purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 12,909 square metres and the maximum is 21,515 square metres. The developer must build a minimum of 430 residential units.

The final conditions of sale for both lots will be available for distribution and uploaded to the Lands Department's website by July 19. The tender particulars will also be published in the gazette on the same day.
