More flats, anyone?
Lawmakers reportedly urged the government to ramp up flat supply by as much as 13,000 public housing units every year.
A report on Bloomberg said Hong Kong’s lawmakers called on Chief Executive Donald Tsang to announce an increase in the supply of housing for low-income families when he makes his policy address on 12 October 2011.
Fred Li is said to have sought the relaunch of the Home Ownership Scheme and demanded that 3,000 to 5,000 such flats be provided every year.
