September flat sales down 10.5%

The total consideration of the sales was $31.2bn, down 41.7% year on year.

The Land Registry received 6,579 sale and purchase agreements for registration in September, down 10.5% on August and a fall of 52.1% year on year.

The 12-month moving average for September was 10,955, which was 5.2% below that for August and 15.9% below that for September 2010.

The total consideration for sale and purchase agreements in September was $31.2 billion, down 23.6% on August and a fall of 41.7% year on year.

There were 4,823 agreements for residential units, down 11.3% on August and a fall of 53.7% year on year.
