Two home sites fetched a whopping $3.461b

Here are the winning bidders.

In a report, the Lands Department announced today that tenders for two residential sites have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $3.461 billion.

The first site - Sha Tin Town Lot No.579 in Area 56A, Kau To - was awarded to Golden Concept Development for $2.71 billion.

It has a site area of 32,900 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 18,022 and 30,036 sq m.

The other site - Yuen Long Town Lot No.528 on Tak Yip Street, Tung Tau - was awarded to Trioland for $751 million.

It has a site area of 4,303 sq m and is designated for non-industrial purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 12,909 and 21,515 sq m. It must house at least 430 flats.
