95,000 private flats to be available in next 3-4 years
The figure is 3,000 less than the previous estimate.
The number of private flat supply expected in the next three to four years will be 3,000 less than the Housing Bureau’s previous estimate of 95,000.
As of the end of September, there are 63,000 units under construction, excluding those pre-sold by developers, and 17,000 units to be developed from disposed sites.
In Q3, 1,400 units were undergoing construction, whilst 4,500 were completed.
Completing the 95,000 pipeline are the 15,000 unsold units by the end of September.
