CCL home price index breaks record mid-June
It's a record YTD gain of 8.2%.
Home prices continued to gain strongly last week with a 1.0 w/w gain after the previous week’s 1.2% gain.
According to a research note from Barclays, the CCL home price index broke a record high this week again with a
reading of 143.31, posting a record year-to-date gain of 8.2%.
The luxury market reverted from its previous weak performance against the mass market and led the home price gain
this time as the CCL (Large) index gained 2.4% w/w last week and 1.7% the previous week.

Compared with CCL (Large), the CCL (Small/Medium) recorded a smaller gain of 0.7% last week and 1.1% the previous week.
Split by districts, Kowloon, New Territories East and New Territories West all gained in the range of 1.0-1.9% while Hong Kong Island lost 0.9% last week as it already saw a sharp 4.3% gain the previous week.
