Central buildings up for public auction starting at $332m
JLL has been appointed as auctioneer of the buildings.
Buildings No.16 and No.18 Gage Street at Central will be up for a public auction at a reserve price of $332m, which equates to $12,456 per sqft or $134,073 per sqm, according to an order for sale made by the Lands Tribunal.
JLL has been appointed as auctioneer for the public auction of the buildings and will hold the auction on 14 July at their office at Quarry Bay.
The six-storey building was built in 1969 and comprises street level shops and residential flats, served by one common staircase.
The site is zoned as Residential (A) 9 under Draft Sai Ying Pun and Sheung Wan Outline Zoning Plan No. S/H3/33 with a site area of 2,772 sqft or 257.53 sqm.
The property is being sold partly with vacant possession and partly subject to existing lettings and tenancies on an “as is” basis.
