According to a report, the Lands Registry recorded 3,740 sale and purchase agreements for residential units in May, down 12.5% on May, and down 36.5% year-on-year, with a total consideration of $18.7 billion.
There were 4,616 agreements for all building units in June, down 12.7% on May, and down 45% year-on-year.
The total consideration for these agreements stood at $30.9 billion, down 0.7% on May and 43.3% year-on-year.
The public made 377,299 land-register searches during the month, 3.1% down on May, and 8.2 less year-on-year.
