Hong Kong home prices rebound in mid-April
Following a fleeting fall.
After a brief fall of 0.25% w/w the previous week, it has been noted that home prices rebounded with an increase of 1.9% w/w in mid-April.
According to a research note from Barclays, the home price index for the week of 13 April is at 7.5% up in 2015-to-date at a reading of 142.36.
The gain was supported by a broad-based gain across all sub-indices except New Territories West as the only one registering a w/w loss.

CCL (small/medium) index gained 2.0% w/w and outperformed CCL (large) index which gained 1.6% w/w.
Across the regions, Hong Kong Island recouped its 2.3% w/w correction last week by gaining 3.8% this week.
Kowloon and New Territories East also grew 2.5% and 1.6% w/w, respectively. New Territories West fell 0.4% w/w.
