According to a report, the Land Registry announced that the number of sale and purchase agreements for all building units in October was 4,648, down 9.1% on September and 61% year-on-year.
The total consideration for these agreements was $29.8 billion, up 23% on September, but down 61.7% year-on-year.
The total consideration for residential unit agreements was $18.4 billion, down 3.2% on September, and 66.5% year-on-year.
The public made 373,559 land-register searches, up 8.4% on September, but down 20.5% year-on-year.
