
Land transactions hit $16.48b in Q4
More than half of the transactions were recorded in the New Territories.
The Lands Department recorded a total of 13 land transactions in Q4 with nine lease modifications and four land exchanges in the Land Registry.
According to a government press release, three transactions were on Hong Kong Island, four in Kowloon and six in the New Territories to realise a total land premium of $16.48b.
Another two lots were granted by private treaty during the period.
One was granted for the development of a university in Ho Man Tin whilst the other was granted for the development of a non-profit youth centre and hostel in San Po Kong.
