Private housing completions reach 9,271 units as of July 2014
It's already exceeded 2013's full year total.
The latest data from the Buildings Department show that eight private housing estates received their occupation permit in July 2014.
According to a research note from Barclays, the 1,739 units involved now brings the first seven months completions to 9,271 units.
Notably, the report said, this has already exceeded 2013’s full year total of 8,254 unit completion.
Property agency, Ricacorp, estimates that with more large scale estates slated for completion in 2H 2014, this could bring full year completions to 16,000 units.
