According to a release, the number of sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in October was 11,928, up 19.4% on September and up 110.2% year on year.

According to Land Registry figures released today, the 12-month moving average for October was 8,867, which was 6.2% above the 12-month moving average for September, but 14.9% below that for October last year.

The total consideration for sale and purchase agreements in the month was $77.9 billion, up 45.3% on September, and up 182.6% year on year.

Of the agreements, 8,714 were for residential units, up 19.4% on September, and up 87.7% on October last year.

The total consideration for residential unit sale and purchase agreements was $54.8 billion, up 35.6% on September and up 144.1% on October last year.

The number of land register searches made by the public was 469,748 in October, up 6.9% compared with September, and up 32.8% year on year.
