Value of Hong Kong property sales falls in September
As volume plunges 61% on-year.
The Land Registry said the number of sale and purchase agreements for all building units in October was 4,648, down 9.1% on September and 61% year-on-year.
The total value for these agreements was $29.8 billion, up 23% on September, but 61.7% lower on-year. Total value for residential unit agreements came to $18.4 billion, a 3.2% drop on September and 66.5% on-year.
The public made 373,559 land-register searches, up 8.4% on September but down 20.5% on-year.
