Patek Philippe unveils self-winding wristwatch for the modern woman
The Twenty~4 Automatic comes in stainless stel or rose gold.
Patek Philippe presents the new Twenty~4 Automatic. It is a timepiece for modern style-conscious women who are independent, active, and make their own decisions. The watch was created to accompany women who lead eclectic, vibrant lives for 24 hours a day. It is a companion that pairs with all activities and wardrobes – from outdoor outfits to extravagant evening gowns. This creation is for the woman who consummately handles latest-generation technology but prefers a mechanical timepiece on her wrist, one that represents a grand tradition of quality and the lasting value of an artistically crafted masterpiece.
An elegant design of timeless value
The new Twenty~4 Automatic adopts the aesthetic appeal of the manchette-type Twenty~4 launched in 1999 with an exclusive bracelet featuring gently cambered central links framed by delicate two-tier outside links. But it sets itself apart with a totally new 36-mm round case that combines a sleek silhouette with highly refined details. The dials present an easily legible face accentuated with applied Arabic numerals and baton-style hands with luminous coatings. The slightly cambered sapphire-crystal glass echoes the sculpted shape of the case. The bezel is set with two rows of offset diamonds; the “Dentelle” (lacework) setting style amplifies their radiance and emphasizes the feminine aspect.
The new Twenty~4 Automatic incorporates a self-winding mechanical movement. It comes in stainless steel or rose gold as well as with different dials, including a silvery face with highly artistic finissage that emulates the look of precious wild Shantung silk. This face also graces the dressy rose-gold model with a diamond-set bezel, crown, and bracelet.
