Guess what dragged Hong Kong's retail sales growth in July

Sales of jewellery and watches, which were down 22.2% y-o-y in July, remained the main drag on retail sales growth.
According to a research report from JLL, modest growth was, however, recorded for sales of other products more closely related to local consumption.
Meanwhile, in other market news, Bonjour leased the ground floor shop (1,200 sq ft) at 70 Sai Yeung Choi Street.
The report noted that it was leased for around HKD 700,000 per month.
