
Customs extends FTA scheme to Myanmar and Honduras
The FTA Scheme now covers cargo transshipments of 71 economies
Customs has extended the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme) to cover transshipment of cargoes from the Mainland to Myanmar and from Honduras to the Mainland, both via Hong Kong.
The FTA Scheme now covers cargo transshipments of 71 economies under trade agreements.
Traders can apply to customs for a Certificate of Non-manipulation to claim a preferential tariff.
