PCCW shareholders approve spin-off of telecommunication business

Less than 1% voted against the proposed spin-off and separate listing.

On 12 October 2011 the shareholders passed Ordinary Resolutions during an Extraordinary General Meeting by way of poll.

Meanwhile the company said that the decision of the Board as to whether or not to proceed with the proposed spin-off remains subject to market conditions and pricing.
