6 green vehicle trials get go-ahead
Subsidies involved amounted to $3.5m.
According to a report, six applications have won approval to trial green transport technologies under the Pilot Green Transport Fund, the Environmental Protection Department announced.
These trials are for two electric light buses, four electric light goods vehicles and four hybrid goods vehicles, involving $3.5 million in subsidies.
This is the eighth applications batch, bringing the total number of trials under the fund to 58, including an electric taxi, two electric buses, 12 electric goods vehicles and 24 hybrid goods vehicles that transport operators are testing.
