MTR fares to go up

Starting June 19 MTR, Light Rail and MTR Bus fares will increase an average of 2.2%.

A report said fares for 79% of all passenger trips will change by no more than 20 cents. Meanwhile concessionary Octopus fares of $1.9 or below, as well as fares for cross-boundary journeys between Lo Wu / Lok Ma Chau and the majority of stations in the urban area will not be changed.
