Transport Department to conduct commuter survey
Survey officers will be randomly selecting about 50,000 households for interviews.
A news.gov.hk report said, “Assistant Commissioner for Transport (Planning) Anthony Loo said the survey will collect data on commuter patterns and behaviour, which will help the Government better plan future transport infrastructure, and improve public transport services.”
Selected households will be invited to participate via notification letters and will be visited by survey officers within four weeks from the date of issue.
The Travel Characteristics Survey will run from September to January.
