Cathay Cargo Terminal launches e-shipment release forms
The forms will accelerate the import collection process.
Cathay Cargo Terminal has launched the Electronic Shipment Release Forms (eSRF) to provide an end-to-end digitalised import process.
The eSRF accelerates the import collection process, providing improved efficiency and enabling freight forwarders with a more flexible work schedule planning.
eSRFs are also more secure than paper or manual identification verification. It provides customers more visibility and eliminates paper Shipment Release Forms (SRF), reducing archiving storage and promoting sustainability.
Previously, eSRFs could only be obtained by undergoing authentication with paper-based identification documents and queuing for truck dock and cargo clearances. With the new process, an eSRF can be issued through electronic authentication.
