According to a release, the Environmental Protection Department recorded 15 pollution convictions in November.

Seven were for air pollution, one was for noise, six were for improper waste disposal, and one was for water pollution.

The month’s heaviest fine - $20,000 - was imposed on a company that deposited waste unlawfully.
