HK Express expands fare categories
There are now four fare options.
HK Express announced new fare tiers, giving customers more flexibility depending on their needs.
“The new “Ultra Lite”, “Lite”, “Essential” and “Max” fare options, which offers a variety of affordable fares, higher allowances for checked baggage and standard seat bookings, are designed to meet the needs of those who want to travel light or be well-prepared for the journey,” the company said in a statement.
The following are the conditions set per category:
- Ultra Lite - one piece of small personal item with a maximum weight of 7kg
- Lite - one piece of small personal item and one piece of cabin baggage with a maximum weight of 7kg in total
- Essential - one piece of small personal item with a maximum weight of 7kg and one piece of 20kg checked baggage
- Max - one piece of small personal item and one piece of cabin baggage with a maximum weight of 7kg in total, as well as a piece of 32kg checked baggage.
Only the Max category can select standard seats. Meanwhile, all tiers allow change in travel data or time up to 48 hours prior to departure. Each change will incur a fee of $580.
