
HK-Guangzhou railway to be delayed by 2 years
Machine damage caused it.
According to Barclays, the HK$67bn high-speed railway linking Hong Kong to Guangzhou will be delayed by up to two years.
The MTR attributed the delay to damage to a tunnel boring machine as well as problems with the construction of the West Kowloon Terminus.

The delays mean that construction will not finish until 2016 with service starting in 2017.
When announced, the project was expected to be finished by 2015.
