In a letter to Hong Kong Business, Capital Group Companies, Inc., a world leading investment management company, said it has increased its stake in CPMC Holdings (“CPMC” or the “Group”, HKEx: 0906), and has become one of the Group’s substantial shareholders, with more than 5% of interest in the Group.

"The Capital Group Companies, Inc.’s continued investment in CPMC is an attestment of its confidence in the Group’s performance and future development," it said.
