HKMA completed 123 cases in December

Over a thousand are ongoing.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has announced the progress of its banking complaint cases at the end of December 2012.

HKMA said these cases include both Lehman-Brothers-related and other non-Lehman-Brothers-related banking complaints as well as other cases referred by the agency’s banking departments and other regulators.

In December 2012, 74 cases were received while the handling of 1,313 cases was in progress as at end of the said month.
