
BEA closes several branches due to traffic disruption
It also activated its Business Continuity Plan.
The Bank of East Asia, Limited ("BEA") had announced that some of its branches and SupremeGold Centres will be temporarily closed due to traffic disruption.
According to a release from BEA, it has also activated its Business Continuity Plan ("BCP") to mitigate the impact of the event on the Bank's ability to serve customers in the affected areas.
The affected branches and SupremeGold Centres include: Admiralty Branch & SupremeGold Centre (Shop 1007-1008, 1/F, & Unit 17B, 17/F, United Centre, 95 Queensway, Admiralty); Causeway Bay Branch & SupremeGold Centre (Ground Floor, basement & 9/F, 46 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay); and Mongkok Branch (638 - 640 Nathan Road, Mongkok)

Customers are kindly requested to visit other BEA branches or to conduct their banking / securities transactions electronically via Cyberbanking or Cybertrading at www.hkbea.com.
BEA would like to apologise to its customers and other members of the general public for any inconvenience that this temporary closure may cause.
The Bank will resume service at the above mentioned branches and centres as soon as public safety and convenience can be ensured.
An announcement will be posted on BEA's homepage once the re-opening times of the affected branches and centres have been determined.
