Hong Kong now third top global financial center

It’s the first time HK is in top three.

The 2013 Xinhua-Dow Jones International Financial Centers Development Index shows that Hong Kong displaced Tokyo from the Top 3 global financial centers list for the first time.

The Top 10 global financial centers by integrated competitive strength are New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Shanghai, Paris, Frankfurt, Chicago and Sydney, said the index.

Beijing, Shenzhen and Taipei rank at number 11, 15 and 30.
