Hong Kong's bankruptcy petitions dipped 25% in February

564 filings were made last month.

According to the Official Receiver's Office, there were a total of 564 bankruptcy filings made in February, a 33% (on-month) drop from the previous month's 837. This also accounts for a 25% drop on a year-over-year basis.

Meanwhile, bankruptcy orders issued were at 514 in February, down 49% (on month) from January's record which was at 1004 . But it's a slight uptick of 1.4% on a year-over-year basis.
