Pay for workers in finance industries to increase by 3.8% and up in 2023
This is likely because there will be a “greater focus” on finance tech industries this year.
Employees in the finance space can expect their salaries to increase by 3.8% and up this year, according to a report by Links International.
“The market is also expected to enjoy developments through government solutions such as tax incentives and a greater focus on finance tech industries,” the report stated.
“The need for fintech talent is expected to grow, as businesses expand across countries and will want to incorporate as much technology as possible into financial dealings,” the report added.
Based on Links International’s salary index, a chief financial officer in Hong Kong gets an entry-level salary of $129,400, whilst those at the senior level get $155,600.
A financial analyst, meanwhile, gets $31,100 for entry-level and $39,400 for senior level.
