HKEx appointed Joseph Meyer as Chief Administrative Officer

Meyer is Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing's first Chief Administrative Officer and will be a member of the Senior Management Committee.

According to the Hong Kong Information Services Department, he will report directly to the Chief Executive from late June.

Meyer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and East Asian Studies from Colby College in the US, and he was a Thomas J Watson Fellow after his graduation. He has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and his most recent position was Representative Director of Chi-X Japan.
