Huo Yingli joins HKMA

Huo Yingli has been appointed Monetary Authority Senior Adviser at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

She succeeds Mu Huaipeng who returned to People's Bank of China after his secondment to HKMA. Ms Huo is also seconded from PBOC.

At HKMA, Ms. Huo will offer advice and assistance in financial cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland. She will also advise on the further expansion of renminbi business in Hong Kong and the development of opportunities for Hong Kong's financial services industry on the Mainland.

She was previously Deputy Director-General of PBOC’s Financial Market Department.
