4,100 vacancies to be unveiled at the Tuen Mun job fair
Job-seekers must be there on June 19-21.
According to a report, the Tuen Mun Job Fair will be held at Tuen Mun Town Hall from June 19 to 21, offering more than 4,100 vacancies.
The 60 organisations participating at the fair will offer jobs in the retail, catering, property management and transport industries. Twenty organisations will set up counters and conduct on-the-spot recruitment each day.
Vacancies include posts such as telemarketer, apprentice chef (sushi), salesperson, shop assistant, waiter/waitress, cook, minibus driver, storekeeper, security guard and cleaner.
About 80% of the vacancies are full-time jobs, and most offer monthly salaries ranging from $7,000 to $12,000. Nearly all require a Secondary Six education level or below, while around 57% are open to job seekers lacking relevant experience.
Visit the Labour Department’s Interactive Employment Service website for details.
Job seekers can submit applications on the spot and may be selected for on-site interviews. The department will also conduct on-the-spot registration.
The fair will be open from 11am to 5.30pm at the Tuen Mun Town Hall’s Exhibition Gallery.
