Google HK doubles scholarships offered to 2,000
These scholarships would allow access to the courses offered by its Career Certificates Programme.
Google Hong Kong offered 2,000 scholarships as part of this year's Google Career Certificates Programme, doubling the number of grants from 1,000 in 2022.
In partnership with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Fullness Social Enterprises Society, Hong Kong Design Centre, and SME Lab, the company would distribute these scholarships to underserved youth to help them equip themselves with in-demand digital skills and enable them to unlock more career opportunities.
These scholarships would allow the participants to access online digital skills professional training courses, including Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and E-commerce, IT Support and Automation, Project Management, UX Design, and Business Intelligence.
