The vacancy levels in Hong Kong continued to rise 10% to 78,340 in September, according to the Census & Statistics department.
F&B sector still racked up the largest vacancies at 12,060 in September followed The by the professional and business services (8,120), retail trade (8,010), import and export trade (6,230) and financing and insurance (6,030).

On the other hand, vacant jobs got filled up in the industries of construction sites which saw vacancy levels crash 38% over the same period.
In terms of occupation, the line of work of service and sales workers had the largest private sector vacancies at 22,980 in September. This was followed by elementary occupations with 15,520 vacancies, associate professionals (15,350), clerical support workers (9,390).
