According to the Social Welfare Department, the overall Comprehensive Social Security Assistance caseload in November fell by 1,063 cases to 270,060, down 0.4% on October. There were 420,509 recipients.
Low earnings cases registered a month-to-month decrease of 2% to 10,511.
Single parent cases also dropped, by 0.9% to 31,147, while unemployment cases dropped by 1.5% to 24,230.
Ill health and old age cases registered decreases of 0.2% and 0.1% to 25,278 and 153,484.
Permanent disability cases saw a slight increase of 0.1% to 18,376 cases.
